What I Do?
I completed my Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Western Ontario, majoring in physiology and medical science. While completing my undergraduate degree, I also worked as a research assistant as part of the Trauma & Neurosurgery Department at St. Michael’s Hospital. I then went on to complete my Master of Physiotherapy at University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. During his time in Birmingham, I served as the student team therapist, providing pitch-side medical coverage for the university’s lacrosse team.
I have experience working in a broad range of clinical specialties, ranging anywhere from critical care, geriatrics, orthopedics, to stroke rehabilitation. I have worked with a variety of patient populations including the critically-ills, pre-/post-operative, neurological patients and patients with acute or chronic musculoskeletal injuries. I utilize an evidence-based, patient-centered approach in therapy combining manual therapy, patient-tailored exercise programs and education as part of my treatment.
Outside of the clinic, I stay active through weightlifting, cycling, swimming, and experimenting new sports.
I Believe
I believe that the recovery journey is a collaboration between the patient and the therapist. I am keen to be part of my patients’ journey, utilizing my knowledge to help guide, facilitate and maximize their recovery potential.
