What I Do?
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at York University before pursuing a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine in New York. During my studies I worked in pain management, rehabilitation and sport clinics giving me the knowledge and experience to help a diverse population of patients with any goal.
I primarily diagnose and treat musculoskeletal and neurological conditions that are related to the spine and other joints. Once I have identified the issues, I will create a specific and tailored care plan utilizing a combination of treatments to improve joint mobility, reduce pain, and promote overall health and wellness.
In my spare time I enjoy travelling, weight training, hiking new trails, and participating in various 5K and 10K races.

Common conditions treated are back pain, neck pain, headaches, joint pain, sciatica, carpal tunnel, whiplash injuries, osteoarthritis, sport injuries, postural and ergonomic correction.
What is your approach to treatment?
Dr. Ammar’s philosophy combines a wellness approach combined with an evidence-based care framework to assess and achieve long lasting results to his patients. You will find his examinations are thorough, discovering all areas of the body that are contributing to your problems and getting to the root cause.
Once Dr. Ammar has identified the issues, he will create a specific and tailored care plan utilizing a combination of comfortable chiropractic adjustments, advanced manual soft-tissue therapy, and functional rehabilitative exercises.
