Expertise

What I do?

Samantha Jantos is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO) as well as a proud member of OSTCAN. With a strong foundation in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from the University of Guelph-Humber, Samantha uses a holistic, whole-body approach to help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore natural function. She has extensive experience supporting patients of all ages with both acute and chronic conditions and is known for her calm, thorough, and patient-centered care. Outside the clinic, Samantha enjoys playing hockey and softball, adventuring with her son and family, and taking long walks with her dog, Scooby.

I believe

My role as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner is to promote the natural healing process of your body. I work with patience, percision and compassion to meet the body where it's at, and support it through as it self-heals and self-regulates.

Samantha Jantos

“I had a fantastic experience with Samantha for my shoulder pain. Over 8 months of pain progressively getting worse, I tried osteopathy for the first time. Just after one treatment I was 75% better. I was trying everything under the sun, with only minimal relief and the pain came back the next day. Now after a few treatments I'm almost back to being 100% pain free. 10/10 recommend!!”

FAQ'S

Q & A with Samantha

I graduated from the University of Guelph-Humber with a Kinesiology degree, and Diploma in Health Promotion. I graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy with a Master of Practice in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences.

I work with general population individuals from ages 4+. I have experience working with casual, semi-pro, and pro athletes. I also have experience with pregnant women, and post-partum women.

My approach to treatment is a holistic approach. The body, the mind and the spirit are all important factors in the body's ability to self-heal and self-regulate. I promote the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest) to balance the typically heightened sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight).

My treatment is 100% hands on without any external modalities.

I love working in a multi-disciplinary team to increase the patient's health outcome. Working with other practitioners allows us to have the best interest of the patient in mind.
